Chili oil resin is a natural food coloring agent with a natural composition, safety, and special taste and aroma. It is widely used in various food industries. Specific industry categories and usage levels can be referenced from the relevant provisions in the "GB2760-2014 National Food Safety Standard for the Use of Food Additives." For example, it can be used in appropriate quantities based on production needs and process requirements in products such as dried tofu, seasoned meat products (seasoning for raw meat), cured and preserved meat products (such as salted meat, cured meat, preserved duck, Chinese-style ham, sausage), and brine-soaked meat products. In products such as spice oil, solid composite seasonings, solid soup powders, chicken essence, chicken powder, semi-solid composite seasonings, and concentrated soups (canned, bottled), the usage level is 10g/kg. Furthermore, according to the Supplementary Announcement (No. 9 of 2021) issued on October 22, 2021, chili oil resin can be used in an appropriate amount for 16.07 other products (limited to konjac gel products) based on production needs.
